The terms and conditions as detailed below apply to the use of this website www.vflexology.co.uk and the services provided by Valerie Swanton MAR, owner of Vflexology – Reflexology and Wellbeing (Vflexology).

By using the website or contacting Vflexology via the website by email or telephone, or through the links to Vflexology’s social media, you are accepting these terms and conditions, the privacy policy (separate document) and copyright (section 2).


1. Ownership

Valerie Swanton retains ownership and all rights to Vflexology and all content she produces for her services including the name, the logo, articles, newsletters, videos and blogs. Any reference to Vflexology, I, my, me or she refers to me, the owner.

2. Copyright

All content produced by Valerie Swanton for vflexology.co.uk is subject to Copyright Protection ©.

Permission is not granted by Valerie Swanton to photocopy, reproduce any pages, articles, newsletters, videos and blogs by handwriting, typing, scanning into a computer, screen grabbing on a mobile device or taking photographs of the content.

Content produced by other sources will be credited to the author of it. Use of this website is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of England and Wales. 

3. Professional Disclaimer

The services provided by Vflexology are not a substitute for medical care nor are they intended to diagnose, cure or treat any medical conditions. I will not advise on any medical condition or advise to discontinue any medical treatment prescribed by a qualified Medical Practitioner or any corresponding advice.

Any person with a general health query, a health concern or a medical emergency should consult with their GP.

4. Viruses, Hacking and Other Offences

Valerie Swanton makes every effort to check and test vflexology.co.uk for viruses. You must make sure the way you use this website does not expose you to the risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference which may damage your computer system. I am not responsible for any loss or disruption or damage to your data or computer system when using my website.

When using vflexology.co.uk you must not introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to the site. Such attempts will be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Third Party Links

I may provide links to what I believe to be relevant research, articles and other websites, these are provided for information purposes only and for you to access at your sole discretion. By clicking on any link, you acknowledge and agree that you have chosen to enter the linked website. I am not responsible for the availability of the external site, the resources, their privacy policy and their content. I am not responsible for any damage, loss or offence caused by visiting this external website or resource.

6. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Valerie Swanton may update Vflexology’s terms and conditions at any time and without notice. If you continue to use vflexology.co.uk, you agree to any changes in the term and conditions when they are updated.

7. Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

Occasionally there may be information on this site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers and external links. I reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted any emails or enquiries).

9. Gift Vouchers

Expiry Date: Vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase and cannot be redeemed after the expiry date.

Suitability:  Please check my opening hours to make sure the times available are suitable for the recipient. This is your responsibility and refunds will not be given if the recipient cannot attend during the available appointment times.

Lost or stolen vouchers: Lost, stolen or destroyed gift vouchers will not be exchanged or refunded.

Refunds: Vouchers are non-refundable other than within the 14-day cancellation period as per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. 

10. Cancellation Policy

Please note a minimum of 24-hours notice is required for the cancellation of an appointment otherwise a fee will be charged, as follows:

Cancellations within 24 hours and at least 8 hours before appointment time will be charged at 50% of the treatment cost. This fee is to be paid via bank transfer to Valerie Swanton on the date of the missed appointment.

Cancellations within 8 hours before appointment time or “no shows” will be charged at 100% of the treatment cost. This fee is to be paid via bank transfer to Valerie Swanton on the date of the missed appointment.

No refunds will be issued for pre-paid appointments.

11. Payment Policy

Payments can be made by cash or bank transfer. Full payment is due for all treatments carried out and will be charged in accordance with the current cost for services offered as listed on my website. In the event of non-payment on the date of treatment, statutory interest will be added at a rate of 8% plus Bank of England base rate) and further action will be taken.

If the client is late for a scheduled appointment, the treatment time will be reduced in order to maintain the schedule of other appointments. No refund will be issued for time lost.

All pre-paid bookings, deposits and purchased gift vouchers are non-refundable.

Any additional costs charged for mobile treatments to cover travel time and motor costs will be added to the treatment price and paid in accordance with this policy.

12. Testimonials

All testimonials are given freely by existing clients. The original content has not been altered in anyway, except on occasions when the testimonial is part of a larger letter, in which case the text may have been shortened to accommodate the website page. Copies of the full testimonials are securely kept on file with relevant contact details.

Your experience may not be the same as described in a testimonial or review.

 

I am a fully insured reflexologist and a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). I reserve the right not to treat any person who is abusive, intimidating or requests a service outside of the professional nature of my business. The police will be informed of any violation of a personal or business nature.
